Business Overview

Heinrichs Richards LLP (formerly Henderson Heinrichs LLP) is a long-term client that began as a Family Law boutique in 1997. In early 2025, the firm changed its name to Heinrichs Richards LLP. In addition it expanded its service offerings to include practice areas devoted to other legal services related to family law (e.g., Real Estate and Wills and Estates). Committed to providing access to legal assistance, the firm is also leveraging the services of a Designated Paralegal. This allows clients to choose an unbundled approach to legal services that suits their goals and budgets without sacrificing the benefit of experienced, professional legal help. 

Skunkworks Role

Skunkworks has worked with Heinrichs Richards LLP on various projects at different phases of the firm’s development since 2008. That included designing their first logo and building and refreshing websites and SEO/SEM. Over the years, the firm has come to our team to help them transition through office moves, changes in firm leadership, practice area additions, digital marketing campaigns and maintaining their website and online presence.

 

Our involvement includes:
  • Initial Brand Identity: The firm originally came to us for help designing a new logo and brand identity. As a family law firm, they wanted to look and feel approachable and visually represent the named partners.
  • Website Design and Development: We designed and built the firm’s original website and took on a subsequent refresh, as well as redeveloping the site after the firm returned to us from a proprietary platform. We have provided recommendations on content development and have helped with optimizing content for search.
  • Ongoing website development: We are involved on an ongoing basis in building out new practice areas and making technical and on-page SEO improvements. We have also helped the firm integrate several different portals for client questionnaires and forms over the years.
  • Ongoing Web Maintenance, Content Development, SEO, and Strategy: We continue to support Heinrichs Richards LLP through web maintenance and being available as a sounding board to new business development opportunities and projects.

    Our extended collaboration with the firm reflects our ability to provide the value that comes from a clear understanding of a firm’s history, including challenges and aspirations. Our goal is to provide the necessary support and advice to help the firm continue to evolve and grow. We are honoured to be part of this firm’s journey.
