Henderson Heinrichs LLP: Growing family law firm gets new website

We have had the pleasure of working with the energetic and talented family lawyers at Henderson Heinrichs LLP since 2008 when we helped them rebrand and launch their first website. Since then, we have helped them establish a blog, venture into social media and keep up to date with their rapidly expanding legal presence (which is now national).  Most recently, they asked us to update their website to a responsive WordPress design to incorporate all their offices, their blog and their Twitter feed.

They wanted a welcome feel that was not intimidating but inspired confidence at the same time. Having known Rain Henderson and Kevin Heinrichs for many years now I was well aware that anyone who meets them is immediately put at ease and can quickly see that they know what they are talking about. But how to convey that on a website?  Well, they do say a picture speaks a 1000 words and the firm had also recently renovated its offices to make room for some new lawyers…so it was time for some new photography. For this project we worked with Vancouver photographer Wayne Kaulbach of Skylight Images. It helped that Wayne happened to know Rain and Kevin well. As a result, he was able to capture their personalities.

For the site, in addition to a mobile-friendly, responsive design (as all sites should be in the post mobilegeddon world), they wanted to highlight their national reach by providing accessible contact information including phone numbers, email contact forms and Google maps.

The firm has had a Twitter presence for some time and recently recommitted to using it as a means to promote the efforts of firm lawyers to educate clients. To that end, they wanted their Twitter feed displayed prominently on the website.

The firm’s lawyers have been diligent about posting content useful for people going through divorce and separation on their Divorce Law Blog  and the next step for this firm is to leverage additional opportunities to reach a wider audience as they continue to grow and consolidate a national presence.
