August is finished, you say! How? Well, that’s easy, because that’s how calendar months work. In any case, this year is moving so fast it’s hard to imagine we’re way past the halfway mark. August, like most months here, has been especially eventful. Let’s dive into some notable events taking place in the Skunkworks office for this month.
We designed and launched a display advertising campaign for Port Moody based law firm, BTM Lawyers LLP . The “Don’t be a Dummy” digital ad placements are currently being run on wide range of popular websites in the Lower Mainland. The display ads prompt visitors to click through and receive a free consultation from the BTM team. At present, the ads are garnering significant impressions and forms part of a larger integrated campaign including print and transit components that will run through the fall.
Something a little unique in the Skunkworks office is the recent design of James Northey Finishing and Design’s brand new website. Taking cues from James’ clean lines and beautiful workmanship, we focused on delivering a beautiful website that spoke to the nature of James’ brand identity. The site itself is an homage to all the impressive images you’ll be met with when you visit. Go on and take a look.
Vancouver personal injury law firm Simpson Thomas and Associates’ very own lawyer Silvana Lovera Herra, was featured in Burnaby NOW’s Q&A section. Silvana offers up insights into her professional background, while also sharing tidbits from previous work experience. As a result, Silvana has shown incredible ambition and hard work, which is a motivating read.
In addition, Simpson Thomas and Associates have welcomed a new member to the team in ICBC personal injury lawyer, Esther Chung. Esther operated her own law firm, serving the needs of the Korean community. Her current focus is on representing those injured in motor vehicle accidents. Esther also joins her husband, ICBC Lawyer Stephen Ferguson.
Speaking of new team members, Vancouver-based Law Firm Harris and Brun are excited to welcome two new additions to their growing team. New associates Amelia Boultbee and Heather Mathison both join Harris and Brun with a primary focus on insurance defense litigation.
August has been rather eventful for Trial Lawyers Jarvis McGee Rice. They began with two successful judgments, Chow v. Goodman and Norris v. Burgess. The outcome of the Norris v. Burgess trial has garnered favourable media exposure and was subsequently featured in The Vancouver Sun and The Province. Both judgments were shared across social media channels. As a result, we designed web transition sliders for the website and blog posts. View the JMR blog here.
Vancouver’s own Canada West Vets are keeping visitors to their tent entertained at Pet-A-Palooza with a dog anatomy puzzle. The purpose of the puzzle also helps inform passers-by what goes where and keeps kids occupied while Q&A’s take place at the tent.
AU REVOIR AUGUST
